In April 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 outbreak, World Central Kitchen began providing meals to the vulnerable, right here in NYC. We profiled one of the many volunteers risking their lives to feed those in need.

This is Danny Barber. He is one of the many unsung heroes volunteering on the frontline to feed the city's most vulnerable communities and medical workers. 

The video was promoted across social channels and was featured during the broadcast of “The Sun Still Sets,” a virtual fundraising concert hosted by Governor’s Ball, Bumble, and Surf Lodge in May 2020. It was recognized by Communication Arts with an Award of Excellence in May 2021.
